More About aRocket

ARocket was created in the winter of 1994-95. It was inspired by the GNU project and Linux and intends to create low-cost space technology through parallel devlopment.

The ARocket List is composed of hundreds of people from all walks of life that are dedicated to the prospect of creating the next generation hardware. Some are aerospace industry professionals, some are in academia, some are inventers and tinkerers. All have a desire to expand human presence off the Earth in a permanent fashion.

ARocketeers have decided the best way to make sure something gets done right is to do it themselves. Many aRocketeers collaborate on projects, some build every component themselves.

A dedicated static test site. is availible at nominal charge for testing various projects. The site can handle two tons horizontal thrust, liquid or solid non-toxic propellants
